Paris-based Mistral AI has released Mistral Large 2, a 123-billion parameter model that the company claims outperforms GPT-4 on coding, mathematics, and reasoning benchmarks.
The model is available via API at significantly lower cost than competing models from OpenAI and Anthropic. Mistral continues to position itself as the European champion of AI development.
